Completing her magical outfit was a beautiful sheer veil with a heavy silver border. Accessorizing her look were a pair of matching diamond necklaces and bracelets that twinkled as brilliant as the stars from heaven.

THE WEDDING CEREMONY

Held right below those stars was a mandap garnished with marigolds, fairy lights, and delicate white blooms that were ready to hold the wedding. Rajkummar and Patralekhaa’s wedding was conventional yet modest. Adorning a raw silk ivory jacket with gold-plated Bengal tiger buttons, a silk kurta, and churidar Rajkumar was a show-stealer.  He accessorized it with a layered necklace of cultured Japanese pearls, to keep his outfit simple with a red turban putting in a pop of color.

The gorgeous bride, on the other hand, was a showstopper in a radiant red tulle embroidered butti saree designed by famed designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. True to her Bengali roots, Patralekhaa’s bridal attire also included a red and white shankha pola bangles and alta that tinted her palms. Regardless, it was her outstanding dupatta that was the hub of interest with the phrase penned by Sabyasachi himself which said ‘I am submitting you my heart full of love’ embroidered on the border in Bangla. Patralekhaa chose to keep her makeup light and simple with an understated pout and a traditional chandan design dotted over her eyebrows. Accessorizing her look was jewellery crafted out of 22k gold and diamonds with a kundan encrusted mathapatti, a statement Nath and a ring, kundan studded jhumkas, a necklace, heavy gold balas..
